Short courses are a potential new feature of Australia Awards in Fiji and Tuvalu and will complement the long-term Australia Awards that have been running for many years.
These short courses will enable Australia Awards in Fiji and Tuvalu to be flexible and responsive to the emerging needs of organisations and sectors. The short courses will equip individuals with knowledge, skills and attitudes to contribute to their organisation’s priorities, to strengthen organisations and to develop people-to-people and organisational links between Fijians, Tuvaluans and Australians.
Typically, short courses involve up to 25 participants; are less than three months in duration and can be facilitated in the home country and/or Australia.
Priority sectors and specific courses will be identified in collaboration with the Government of Fiji and advertised on this website.
